You can almost feel the ocean breeze when looking at the sail boat. The color of the sky is unusual, but very dramatic. I bought it at your store in Gardiner so that I could bring another little bit of Maine back to Kansas with me! I am delighted with it!

My husband and I are renovating my Mom’s house. Perkins Cove is such a big part of our family’s life and to have this on the wall in my Mom and Dad’s home in Ogunquit is fabulous!!

Each year, we order two art desk calendars by Alan Claude. One stays in Silver Spring, Maryland, and the other one goes to good friends in Santa Barbara, California. Although we live many miles apart, one of the things we have in common is that we all have visited Maine many times and we love being reminded of what a special State it is. Alan Claude's art truly represents our best memories of this special place in our Country. Each year, we look forward to seeing what new scenes he will paint for our enjoyment.

I have been looking for art that reminds me of home (Cape Elizabeth) to fill my new house in Wilmington, Delaware. I have admired Claude's work and his ability to mix classic, familiar subjects with contemporary print aesthetics. When I saw this print, I immediately knew it would be the perfect piece to display prominently in my house. I would be reminded of home whenever I enjoy it hanging on my wall.

It's a great piece that gets many compliments and questions from all my guests.

I purchase one of these calendars every year to take back to Florida. It reminds me of Maine when I am AWAY!
