This is such a lovely reminder of our time in New England. We miss it terribly so it’s nice to have a beautiful reminder on the walls of our breakfast nook.

I first learned about Alan Claude's art when a friend gave me the yearly calendar. I loved switching out the artwork each month. When we built our new house, I knew I wanted some of his prints highlighted. They bring color and some of our favorite parts of Maine into our home. We've started with Good Book on a Snowy Day and look forward to adding the Perkins Cove print this Spring.

I have a lot of Alan's work in my summer home in Maine as well as my home in North Carolina-I love his prints! I immediately became "taken" with this print and knew it had to go on the sunroom where I read!! I couldn't wait to purchase it and made a special trip to Gardiner just for it. It arrived last month and I couldn't possibly be happier. "A Good book on a Snow Day" is indeed the perfect title and I so readily identify with it-now I'm waiting for a snowy day to read my own good book while eyeing this special print.
