Edgartown Light, in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts is one of five lighthouses on the island. My pregnant (with twin girls) wife Erin, our three-year-old son Zacharie, and I took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard on a calm summer morning. Edgartown was a key whaling port in the 1800’s. During our walk to the beach we were impressed by the stately “Captains’ Homes”, with their distinctive white clapboards and black or dark green shudders. The Edgartown lighthouse sits solitarily on a mostly sandy peninsula with boats docked on one side and the open sea on the other. As I carried Zacharie on my back through the water, we were both fascinated by the countless seashells strung along the shore. It was a sweet family moment at this lighthouse, and one that I will always remember.

The colors are bold and striking with a solid ink coverage reminiscent of silk-screen printing
