Doubling Point Light, in Arrowsic, Maine is a charming octagonal lighthouse on the Kennebec River. The lighthouse afforded us an intimate and memorable evening for my wife Erin, our 4 months-old-boy Zacharie and I. We were in for a treat for vivid color was everywhere. It was October when the foliage was peaking and as the sun began to set beyond the tree line, an orange hue dominated the tall grass. Even the wood tower was tinged with hints of lavender. Above us, rays of shimmering light peeked through the leaves and danced on the shadowed ground. It was right where I was sitting that I based my composition of Doubling Point Light. Everything flowed magically.

The colors are bold and striking with a solid ink coverage reminiscent of silk-screen printing
