Maine Artist Alan Claude owns two of the buildings. Claude is well-known for his graphic artwork featuring Maine lighthouses and colorful coastal scenes. Claude plans to open a gallery and retail space and says he’s also excited to be part of the redevelopment downtown.

“There’s so much history here and I look forward to seeing the revival happen,” Claude said.

Hi Alan,
Greetings from lower Grant St.

Diane and I are looking for an apartment. 3 bedroom or large 2 bedroom.

On my walk 3 or 4 weeks ago I chatted
with Mr. Skehan and he said you might be moving to Gardiner and that there might be an opening at your place.

I gave him my name and number (207) 215-4322). Hadn’t heard from him so I thought I’d contact you. No rush…up to 10 months for us to find a place.
